Dr. Anne-Sophie Bua has been part of our team since 2018. Every day, she makes a difference in our team and in your pets’ lives through her dedication towards her patients as well as her curiosity and her attention to detail, which allow her to study rare or complex cases.
“I am committed to providing quality service to my patients and to providing compassionate support to pet owners in their decision-making, regardless of the circumstances. I love the challenges provided by internal medicine, a somewhat jack-of-all-trades specialty, where I know I can make a difference with my structured, analytical, and evidence-based approach.”
Dr. Bua received her doctorate from the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort, France, in 2013. She completed an advanced internship in applied veterinary sciences (IPSAV) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 2014, and then completed her residency in pet internal medicine at the same institution in 2017. Dr. Bua graduated from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 2018. Her training also includes a Master of Science in Veterinary Clinical Sciences (MSc) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal.
