Dr. Maude Touret has been part of our team since 2014. Every day, she makes a difference in our team and in your pets’ lives through her careful listening and her empathy towards her patients.
” From a very young age, I have always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. During my training, I developed an interest in oncology. With cancer affecting more and more of our pets, I am passionate about helping owners and their pets who are going through this ordeal. Working in an emergency and referral centre like the Centre Vétérinaire Laval allows me to have access to state-of-the-art equipment, while working with a team of renowned specialists to offer the best care to my patients.”
Dr. Touret obtained her PhD from the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Toulouse, France, in 2007. She then completed a master’s degree in clinical sciences (MSc) in 2009 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal, followed by a postgraduate internship in applied veterinary sciences (IPSAV) at the same institution in 2009, before completing her residency in oncology at the University of Guelph, Ontario, in 2012. Dr. Touret graduated from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in Oncology in 2015. She also held the position of Clinical Instructor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal for one year before joining our team.
