Dr. Émilie Tougas has been part of our team since 2010. Every day, she makes a difference in our team and in your pets’ lives through her enthusiasm and her energy.
“The multidisciplinary nature of the profession is really what led me to become a veterinarian. It is possible to be involved in everything and do surgery, ultrasound, dentistry, preventive medicine, and emergency medicine! The most important part of my job is really the team spirit and the cooperation in managing cases, but there is also the trusting relationship between pet owners and us. We’re truly privileged to be able to care for their animals; you have to maintain that connection of trust.”
Dr. Tougas received her doctorate from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 2009. She then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud in 2010 and works at the Centre Vétérinaire Laval since its opening. This is where she performs her many skills, including emergency practice, emergency ultrasound, and dentistry.
