Dr. Marie-Pier Poirier-Guay has been part of our team since 2012. Every day, she makes a difference in our team and in your pets’ lives through her conscientious work and her gentleness.
“As a child, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. As I grew up, my love for animals and science confirmed my career choice. What I enjoy most about my work is helping animals improve their quality of life, and contributing to the special relationship between an animal and its family, even in times of illness.
I chose to work at the Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud to have access to the skills of several specialists and different diagnostic equipment in order to offer the best possible care to my patients. Our great team allows me to improve and continue to learn every day.”
Dr. Poirier-Guay received her doctorate from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in 2010. She subsequently completed an advanced internship in applied veterinary science (IPSAV) at the same institution in 2011, as well as a specialty internal medicine internship at the Centre DMV in 2012.
