Dr. St-Jean is highly regarded by her colleagues for the exceptional quality of her patient care, her selflessness and her remarkable dedication to her work. Her cheerfulness and optimism brighten the days of those around her.
“As soon as I started to work as a student in reference centres, I knew I wanted to work in this field, as I was attracted by the family spirit and friendliness of the members. I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. I deeply love animals and caring for them seemed the best way to help them. During my studies, internal medicine quickly caught my attention, not only for the stimulating challenges it offers, but above all, for the opportunity to develop long-term, trusting relationships with my patients and their families. My objective is always to ensure comfort and a good quality of life for my patients, and to adapt my approach and medical practice to the needs of each individual.”
Dr. St-Jean obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2019, followed by a general internship in 2020 at the Centre hospitalier universitaire vétérinaire of the University of Montreal. In 2021, she pursued a specialized internship in internal medicine at the Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud. In 2024, she completed her residency in internal medicine and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Science at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph.
