Fear Free Certification
Our facility’s Fear Free certification reflects our commitment to making your pet’s visit as stress-free and peaceful as possible. Our team has undergone a multi-module training program to fully understand the stress factors in animals, and more importantly, what we can do to minimize that stress. This training has given us the tools to:
- Understand the basics of stress behaviors
- Reduce your pet’s fear during transport to our facility and to your home
- Arrange our waiting room and consultation rooms accordingly
- Adapt our care and procedures to take into consideration the stress and anxiety they create
Anxiety exists in all creatures, and our role as a veterinary team is to minimize this anxiety as much as possible for your pets, because we care for them as if they were our own.
